As part of its growth strategy, Bekaert has acquired Bexco, one of the leading companies in synthetic ropes for lifting and mooring in offshore energy and marine applications. Bekaert already has significant experience in this field via its Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group business unit, and now further strengthens its offering.
By combining our expertise and capabilities in the offshore wind industry, we will create a global offshore rope solutions provider to support the offshore wind industry's future growth. This will ensure our commitment to fulfilling Bekaert's strategic promise of driving growth through sustainable solutions and practices that have a positive impact.

On Thursday, 7 December 2023, Bekaert held a Capital Markets Day for institutional investors and analysts in London, at the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
